The NEW Rule LoPro (low profile) bilge pumps are small enough to fit into tight spaces in the bilge – yet they pack real pumping power at 900 gallons per hour – 3,400 litres per hour – 57 litres per minute.
These new pumps include numerous features for ease of installation, ease of use and multiple options for use.
Two models available – standard NON-automatic or dual sensing AUTOMATIC.

High or low water sensing mode – the pump can be set to start operation at either 33 mm or 50 mm bilge water height.

Electronic automatic timer mode – The pump can be set to automatically check for water every 2.5 minutes – if water is present it will continue to run and pump bilge water. This feature is very handy – however if you leave the boat unattended on a mooring it may run down the battery over time, if you don’t have solar panels or a wind generator etc. to constantly charge the battery – in this case set the pump only to high or low mode.

Warnings:
Always fit the correct size fuse (7.5 Amp) and use marine-grade wiring and connectors. Do not run the pump from an inappropriate power source. Ensure the non-return valve is fitted only to straight discharge ports as specified.

For many owners the automatic function is brilliant — but think beyond the feature: consider the pump’s impact on your battery management strategy. If your vessel spends long periods unattended, pair the automatic LoPro with a dedicated battery monitoring system or a small solar trickle charger. That simple pairing prevents late-night drain caused by repetitive timer checks and keeps the pump available when you really need it.
Tip: mount the pump on a removable plate or use quick-disconnect cable terminals so you can lift it out for cleaning without cutting hose or rewiring. Marine bilges are messy — easy access saves time and avoids damage from buried debris.
