Weatherproof Cabin Light – 3 x LED Round, White, 12 Volt, 38 Lumen
These economically priced flush-mount weatherproof LED cabin lights have extremely low power consumption (approximately one tenth of a normal bulb), extending battery life while providing a soft focused light. Their weatherproof IP67 rating makes them ideal for cockpit, stairway or interior cabin lighting.

Do not connect to the incorrect voltage. Verify your vessel’s electrical system is 12 Volt before installation. Switch not included — fit a suitable marine-grade switch and inline fuse sized for your circuit.

A 38 lumen output gives a gentle, non-glary glow perfect for night navigation or reading charts without ruining night vision, but if you plan to use these as task lights (e.g. over a galley work area) you may prefer a higher-lumen or additional directed fixture. Also consider wiring them to a switched circuit with a dimming option or separate night mode so you can reduce intensity further for late-night cruising. Finally, when replacing old incandescent fixtures, check the mounting depth and shroud cut-out — some older panels need a shallow adapter or extra spacer to achieve a neat fit.

- Seal cut-outs and screw holes with a marine-grade sealant during installation to maintain IP67 performance over time.
- Use slightly larger gauge wire for runs over 3 metres to reduce voltage drop and preserve LED output.
- Fit an inline fuse close to the battery to protect the circuit — match fuse rating to total circuit draw.
- Test the light at night to confirm placement and glare — sometimes moving one fixture a few centimetres avoids reflections on varnished surfaces or windows.
