Boat Hut Insight
When choosing a pedestal like this, think beyond just comfort—consider how often you might want to change your seating arrangement while underway. The plug-in system offers a playful level of modularity that’s perfect for those who enjoy adapting their cockpit layout on the fly. Plus, the gas-assisted rise isn’t just about luxury—it helps you stay steady when the waves get lively, so you’re less likely to spill your coffee or your catch!
Tip: Regularly check the gas suspension pressure and swivel mechanism for smooth operation, especially after exposure to saltwater environments. Rinsing with fresh water and applying marine-grade lubricant can extend the lifespan significantly.
