Hansen Level Alert UniTri Mount / HLAUNIMOUNT
This is a spare part for Tank Level Alert Indicator.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (See visual instructions in image gallery)
- STEP ONE: Choose a mounting position close to an inspection cover/ hatch. Mark then drill a hole or
series of holes larger than the Guide Tube (refer to Step 3 for correct drill selection). - STEP TWO: Place the assembled UniTri Mount in the hole, loosen the Cap Nut, lift and rotate the Guide Tube to achieve vertical position then lightly tighten the Cap Nut.
- STEP THREE: Select the correct drill for either a plastic or concrete tank. Using the UniTri Mount as a template mark and then drill three holes in the tank to match the UniTri Mount.
- STEP FOUR: For Concrete tanks, insert the Plastic Plugs into the holes before winding in the screw. For Plastic tanks, hold the Wing Nut in place inside the tank while winding in the screw from the outside.
- STEP FIVE: Screw the HiViz Float on one end of the Male/Male threaded Stainless Steel Tube. Screw additional Stainless Steel Tubes as required onto the first Tube then tighten all Tube joints with a suitable spanner.
- STEP SIX: Slide the Stainless Steel Tube assembly through the mounted Guide Tube, reach inside the tank and attach the Blue Float to the other end of the Stainless Steel Tube.
- STEP SEVEN: With a Spirit Level ensure the Stainless Steel Tube is plumb/vertical then firmly hand tighten Cap Nut.
- STEP EIGHT: Drill a 4mm hole in each of the security housing locations, insert the security screws and tighten.

- ANSWER: Yes, the Hansen Level Alert comes with stainless steel fasteners for installation on steel, plastic and concrete tanks.
- QUESTION: My existing tank level indicator will stick in a position after windy days and I’ve had to replace it a number of times. Will the Hansen Level Alert reduce this problem?
- ANSWER: Yes, we have covered this issue in two ways, firstly by incorporating a HiViz UV Stabilised low wind resistant float and secondly our glass reinforced nylon guide tube and larger diameter stainless steel tube (16mm diameter) reduces the chance of it bending reducing this problem.
- QUESTION: My tank has a very steep roof angle and I cannot fit a level indicator that will attach vertically, will the Hansen Level Alert fit my tank?
- ANSWER: Yes, our fully adjustable UniTri mounting base will adapt to most tank roof angles, the adjustment is a full 35 degrees each way, so once installed you never need to adjust.
