Hansen 25mm x 20mm (1” x 3/4”) Reducing Hex Nipple, BSPT x BSPT / HRHN2520
This is used as a reducing join. Allows to join or connect two (2) Female Threads.

FITTING SIZE MAX PRESSURE @ 20º DEGREE CELCIUS/68º FAHRENHEIT 6mm-50mm 16 Bar (1600 kPa, 235 PSI) 65mm 12 Bar (1200 kPa, 175 PSI) 80mm-100mm 10 Bar (1000 kPa, 145 PSI) Hansen have tested all its products for use with cold water up to a maximum temperature of 60ºC (140ºF). It is not recommended the use of these products higher than 60ºC (140ºF) as plastic expands due to temperature increases. Hansen cannot guarantee the products will perform when used with temperatures over 60ºC (140ºF). Hansen products that have failed in temperatures higher than 60ºC (140ºF) will not be covered by limited lifetime warranty.

TRUE FIT THREADED FITTINGS QUICK AND EASY INSTALLATION STEPS (See full installation in image gallery or attached image)
- 1.) (a) Use a thread paste sealant or (b) a teflon tape sealant. The right sealant for threaded joints is non-hardening, compatible with plastic and doesn’t add slipperiness to encourage over-torquing.
2.) Screw pipe into fitting. Do not over tighten. The recommended way to assemble a Threaded Pipe Fitting is hand tight. Tighten until firm with spanner or pipe grip. One to two turns should be all that is required.
- All pipe work must be adequately supported.
- Use a thread sealant on all threaded connections. It is recommended to use Loctite 5331.
- If you are using chemicals or have any special requirements that you wish to use your Threaded Pipe Fitting in, see the Threaded Chemical Resistance chart in the image gallery.

- Fittings should be installed as per applicable standards and approvals for pipe and fittings. Failure to complete installation in accordance with applicable standards and approvals may void warranties given by Hansen Products (NZ) Limited in respect to the fitting. It is recommended to follow pipe manufacturers guidelines.

- QUESTION: Can I use Hansen True Fit Fittings under driveways, paths and foundations?
- ANSWER: Hansen does not recommend the use of any Hansen True Fit Fittings under any driveways, paths or foundations.
- QUESTION: Can I use my Hansen fittings with my swimming pool/spa pool set up?
- ANSWER: No, as the high concentration of chlorine used in the water for pools will attack the material. The fitting material is only suitable for use with domestic water. Hansen products that are used in this application will not be covered by our Hansen Warranty.
- QUESTION: Can I use these fittings with metal fittings?
- ANSWER: Yes. For more information on installation tips, kindly refer to installation instructions.
- QUESTION: Do I need to support my fittings?
- ANSWER: Yes. All pipe work must be adequately supported.
- QUESTION: Does this fitting carry the Hansen Warranty?
