SeaStar Pro Cylinder – HC6358
SeaStar’s premier No FeedBack™ System, designed to be the best steering system available for the performance boating enthusiast. SeaStar® Pro is recommended for single outboards up to 300 Horsepower, even with jackplates and performance propellers.
Designed for offshore hard working high speed boats, SeaStar Pro is for you. The SeaStar Pro Front Mount Outboard Cylinders have keyed support brackets to prevent racking of the cylinder which gives it a more solid feel and more robust bushings.
SeaStar PRO Outboard cylinders are suited for all those critical high speed, single powered outboard boats, like Bass, Flats, combo Race/Ski and other performance orientated boats capable of speeds in excess of 100 kilometres per hour.
High performance outboards and boats need specifically designed systems. The Pro High Performance cylinder system is also designed for dual and triple engined boats exceeding 80 kilometres per hour allowing the skipper complete confidence in the selection of the steering components.
The front mount Pro Hydraulic Cylinder by SeaStar® has been specifically designed and manufactured to increase feel and control of high performance outboard powered vessels that have a high level of wear and tear and are used frequently.
Key features of the Pro Cylinder include, heavier duty pivot plate bushes that reduce wear in harsh conditions and longer cylinder rod bushes which create a better seal on the end gland. The cylinder is more rigid due to the addition of the key ways on the support rod and support brackets.
The patented ‘pivot’ mount design, utilised on the Pro Cylinder, guarantees continuous smooth, comfortable steering, and maximum efficiency even at the ‘hard-over’ positions.
Simplicity – Integral bleeders and few components make installation a snap. Less moving parts and improved seals boost durability and reduce maintenance.
Reliability – SeaStar took its previous cylinders’ outstanding design to the next level improving seals, bearings, fittings and corrosion protection.
