Seastar Quick Connect Steering Cable 3.35m (11FT)

SSC62 Type push-in quick connect cables, no tools required. Cable connects via a quick connect hand pin that is easy to remove and replace.
The stainless steel cable outlet end minimizes corrosion. Convenient 7/8″ tilt tube mount nut as per ABYC, NmmA, and BIA standards.
Fits directly to TFX rotary helms: BLA codes 280132, 280134, 280144, 280232, 280234, 280242, 280250, and 280251.
Commonly known as Safe T II QC or Quick Connect and 4.2 NFB tilt or standard helms.

Specifications:

  • Minimum bend radius: 200mm
  • Minimum channel thickness: 23mm

How to measure Cable Length: Length is measured from the helm insert nut, where the pin holds the cable, to the tilt tube attachment nut plus 450mm (Y) + 450mm cable length.
Alternatively, measure A (centre of steering wheel to gunwale), plus B (dash to transom), plus C (gunwale to centre of transom).
Cable length for transom stringer and splashwell mount: A + B + C minus 150mm. Cable length for tilt tube mount: A + B + C plus 150mm. Note: 
Also compatible as a replacement cable for SSC62.
