Atlantic Cadet Electric Trailer Winch 2000LB 900kg 12 Volt 9 Metre Cable Snap Hook CEW2000C
An economical, portable 12 Volt electric trailer winch that is ideal for retrieving boats up to 5.5 metres.
211226 is supplied with a hand-held remote for power-in operation only, with an adjustable free-spooling clutch for launching purposes.
211228 is supplied with a hand-held remote for power-in and power-out operation, also with an adjustable free-spooling clutch for launching and retrieving purposes.
A quick-release bracket for easy attachment and removal to either the winch post or tow ball, along with an emergency crank handle and galvanised cable and snap hook.
Electric motor rating of 12 Volt, 25 AMP and 300 Watt, with a rating of 1.3 metres per minute while under load with a 12-month warranty on the electric motor.
Suitable for intermittent use only i.e. the one to three minutes winching time normally taken to retrieve the boat onto the trailer. Not suitable for industrial or hoisting applications.

While the electric winch makes boat retrieval much easier, consider the battery health and charge level before each use. A weak or partially charged 12 Volt battery can cause slower winching speeds or even stall the motor, especially when pulling heavier boats on a steep incline. Also, if you regularly launch or retrieve in saltwater environments, rinse the winch and cable with fresh water after use to prevent corrosion and extend the lifespan of the galvanised cable and snap hook. And a little tip: always keep the emergency crank handle handy — technology is great, but sometimes a manual backup saves the day!
