This is a great pump for fresh or salt water and can also handle diesel and comes with a slim-line screen filter as well. Ideal for using to refuel your diesel tank without spilling a drop! It is as simple as connecting the pump to power and it will work.
As a submersible pump, drop the pump into the liquid and as an inline booster make sure the hose / pump is primed for it to work. This pump is not self-priming, so it must be in the water or set up to be primed by gravity or a manual pump – please refer to the instruction link below for more details.
Other uses include:
-
Deck showers using salt water
-
General washdown
-
Bilge pump out in tight areas
-
Water transfer
-
Anchor washing
It easily adapts from being a submersible pump to a booster pump in just seconds and packs all this in an incredibly small package of only 500 grams.
Rule Inline Pump comes with 13 mm (1/2 inch) inlet and outlet.

Boat Hut Insight
When choosing between the 12 Volt and 24 Volt models, consider your boat’s electrical system and future upgrades. While 24 Volt systems are often more efficient and can reduce cable thickness and voltage drops, the 12 Volt variant is more common and might be easier to integrate with existing gear. Also, since these pumps are not self-priming, think about where you will mount or place the pump to ensure easy priming and avoid air locks. A handy tip: keep a small manual primer or a clear hose section nearby so you can visually confirm the pump is primed before use. And if you’re refuelling diesel, remember the slim-line filter is your friend—always clean it regularly to avoid clogging and save yourself from mid-trip headaches!
